| I would describe myself as a Professional Radiographer ( NHS) and an amateur photographer based in Ashford, Kent. I was born and raised in the North Kent Marshes. I started photography whilst a pre teen and was taught the basic of developing and printing by my father. I have a relaxed friendly approach specialising in stylish modern and traditional portraiture and figure photography. Other specialities are seascape, street, infra red and buildings. I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers. I have gained the Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society. I also have the DPAGB distinction from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. I have been awarded the EFIAP for International Exhibition success Other notable awards were My Fellowship Panel was Fellowship of the year 2018, I was awarded a Gold Medal at the London Salon in 2019, and one of my images taken during the Pandemic was used as one of 100 images for the Duchess of Cambridges Hold Still Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery. I have also had many awards in exhibitions both in the UK and Internationally I use Nikon and Olympus high quality cameras which give excellent results. I still use film for certain tasks as it gives a look for some things that cannot be replicated digitally, I have my own studio equipment which can be transported and used on site. My influences are the photographers of the 60's, Tim Page, Don McCullin, David Bailey et al. The people whose work i admire now is Paul Sanders, Trevor and Faye Yerbury, Rachel Tailbart, and my two Fellowship mentors Steve Smith and Paul Mitchell I AM AN AMATEUR.
