EFIAP

The AFIAP is the Excellence of the Federation Internationale De L’art Photographique. It’s the baseline distinction for this organisation. Firstly you must have your FIAP card. You need to be a member of a club that is part of the PAGB, at the time I was a member of Ashford Photographic Society which is part of the KCPA which is part of PAGB. You needed to have obtained the AFIAP distinction at least one year beforehand. To be awarded the EFIAP you must have had success in 30 different approved Salons from at least 20 different countries. I needed at least 250 acceptances coming from 50 different images. Again as before a portfolio of images and a database is submitted. I needed to submit 5 images from different salons in different countries, 3 of these images needed to have received an award. The images needed to be very different from each other and the 5 images used in the EFIAP submission. This is why i chose my 5 for the AFIAP, with the entry for EFIAP in mind.
